CLEANER ANIMAL CARE FACILITIES ARE SAFER FOR PETS

Animal viruses such as Canine Parvovirus and Feline Calicivirus can present a serious health risk for pets at animal care facilities. It is scientifically proven that rigorous and regular environmental cleaning, as part of an environmental infection control program, is associated with major decreases in the spread of harmful pathogens. Training of environmental services staff on how to clean more thoroughly is paramount to the success of the program.
